Flat ground, old pipes, heavy figs
Housing era. Interwar and 1950s brick bungalows wrap around the 18-hole golf course that takes up much of the suburb's area. Those long-settled homes carry the era's signature faults.
- Original galvanised supply lines in these brick homes corrode internally and choke water pressure
- Sewers laid for the interwar and early post-war homes are salt-glazed earthenware, cracking at the joints after 70-plus years
- Post-war homes commonly run storage hot water systems that have passed their expected service life
Terrain. The suburb sits barely 8 m above sea level on flat ground, so site drainage is sluggish and gutters and pits back up in downpours. During heavy rain, the low-lying drainage around the golf course surcharges, backing up gully traps on older properties.
Tree roots. Established figs and gums around the course and older gardens push roots into the old earthen sewers under these long-settled blocks, finding every joint in the ageing clay lines.
Plumbing services we cover here
Whatever the fault, it routes through one of four teams:
- Emergency plumbing Burst pipes, toilets overflowing, no hot water and gas leaks, answered day and night
- General plumbing Tap and mixer repairs, toilet repairs and installation, bathroom and kitchen plumbing, leak detection, water filters and burst pipe repair
- Drainage Blocked drains, blocked sewers, stormwater, CCTV drain inspections and pipe relining
- Hot water Repair, replacement and installation across gas, electric and instant systems
The concentration of end-of-life storage units in the post-war housing makes no-hot-water callouts a weekly event for our vans in these streets.

Good questions, straight answers
Questions Beverley Park locals ask
Why is our water pressure so weak in an older brick home?
Interwar and 1950s bungalows around the golf course often still carry original galvanised supply lines that rust shut from the inside, and renewing those sections is the only lasting fix.
Do you charge a call out fee to come out?
No, the call out costs you $0, and you receive a single fixed written price before any work begins, so you can say no without owing anything.
Why do our drains back up after heavy rain?
The suburb sits on flat, low ground around the golf course where stormwater drains slowly, so surcharged lines and struggling backyard pits are a common call after big rain events.
